"Lizzie" Anti Treaty Heavy Mortar

While doing some research on the Irish Civil War, I was surprised to discover the existence of the one and only mortar in the hands of the Anti Treaty Forces, it was built by a Dublin IRA member along with about ten shells, nick named Lizzie by its crew it saw action at the battle for Kilmallock in July 1922.

This will give the Anti Treaty force a better chance in games, and a chance to counter the Free State field guns, how the Anti Treaty force would fare with no artillery was a worry of mine, now its sorted and I can also stick to historical accuracy, which I was hesitant to stray from

    2. Good use of the figures. They fit in well. That set is particularly good for unconventional forces. You saw the inner mortarman. Like it a lot.

  3. Yeh, you have to get creative doing a unconventional force. The sets are a god send, and the funny thing is Caesar has delisted them, I guess they are not a big seller, I will have to order a few more sets before they sell out.
